I am resigned to not resign to ALS.

I am on bended knee because my body is failing, but not my will.

I will give into the love and support surrounding me, but never give into ALS.

I will dwell on what I have and not what ALS has taken.

I will fight with every ounce of energy, for ounces are all I have left in my body.

I am using my voice to help you understand, even though my voice is but a whisper.

I am resigned to live, in spite of ALS!
